There's a first for everything.

With regards to her unique and playful personal style, her amazing sense of fashion and her passion that I know she holds for all things fashion related, I knew Paige would be an amazing first interviewee.
When you first see Paige you would notice she has ombre highlights! You know... darker roots with highlights painted on the ends. A trend totally worth working into your style.
Not only because its so 'hot' right now, but because its such a low maintenance way to spice up your hairstyle. (Warning: too dark roots + too light highlights = ombre gone wrong!)

To begin our little interview she brings me to
her bedroom where she's going to tell me a little bit more about her style.
Right away I can't help but drool over her adorable antique chic, distressed dresser with her own personal little bows tied delicately around, and in place of drawer handles. What a cute way to add a little bit of style to a piece of furniture! After my excitement about all the cute little things around her room we finally settle in...

"My style icon is always changing, anyone from Janis Joplin to Abbey Le Kershaw. I find inspiration for outfits that I wear from images of the 60's, style blogs, magazines and the desert. I would describe my style as bohemian, feminine and a little tomboy, I like to mix it all together.

My cut-off Levi's and my favorite worn in boots are my go-to daytime item and when I go out I would wear something like my tapestry Jeffrey Campbell platforms, their my lucky shoes, and a punchy red lipstick. My favorite thing in my closet is a white jumpsuit that I thrifted a couple years ago. Its the coolest thing I've ever found, the top is crocheted at the shoulders and it buttons up the back. It doesn't even have a label inside, its a really cool original piece! Usually when I shop I go to thrift stores and vintage shops. I seem to find the most awesome things when I got to vintage stores.

My favorite brands are Anthropologie, Free people, H&M, and J. Crew. I love the aesthetic of Anthropologie and Free People, even if I don't get anything when I go in, I love to get inspired by their styling and displays. H&M has a great selection and its super affordable. J.Crew styles things to perfection, and its a great place to find basics.

My favorite designers are Rodarte, Missoni, Christopher Kane, Jil Sander, and Chris Benz. Rodarte is my all time favorite because I'm in love with their aesthetic and the wonderful texture of their garments. Recently, Alexander Wang's Fall 2012 collection caught my eye, it was so sophisticated but still in his same grungy way...it was magical!

My daily beauty routine usually consists of Benefit bronzer, some sort of shimmery copper on the eye lids, a sweep of liquid liner and lots of mascara. If my lips are feeling sad, I usually give them a healthy dose of Rose Bud strawberry lip balm.  It smells yummy! My favorite beauty products right now are Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume, my gray nail polish and my blackish purple Urban Decay lipstick. The lipstick is just the right shade for adding some wow-factor to a look, especially when going out. If I were going to a deserted island and could only take one beauty product it would be my Mary Kay Ultimate mascara. It's my fav!"
