Material Girl

Recently I took a little trip to Target. And I swear to you, I never plan on spending an hour and a half to two hours there. However, for some reason Target seems to be a big black hole of timelessness. I could wander the isles for hours just looking at all of the pretty things and never even notice that any time has actually gone by. Its like these products are calling my name...I can hear it now, "Whitney, oh Whitney...please take me home with you" begs this beautiful little bottle of essie nail polish. - Well, that didn't take much convincing, did it?


My mother always says to me, "Whitney, you always want, want, want..." Okay, you caught me red-handed (actually pink in this case, since I just painted my nails with the delicious color you see in the photographs). Honestly though, how can I not "want, want, want" when there are so many beautifully irresistible things out there to be had? As Madonna once stated, "You know that we are living in a material world, And I am a material girl." Or as I like to put it in a - not so stuck up my own a** kinda way - I just really enjoy pretty things!

So, I'm sure at this point you have come to the conclusion that I was stuck in target and found my way over to the essie nail polish section where I was bombarded with rows of deliciously intriguing, colorful little bottles of toenail bliss. Where, after much debating over whether to go with the sparkly blue that I'll probably never use, or the more trendy, greys, tans and nudish colors, I made a bold choice.  And the winner is...Bachelorette Bash! I knew she (yes, the nail polish) would fit in perfectly with my other cute little bottles of smellies and polishes that line my dresser. Plus, I was just dying to be the envy of Barbie with this gorgeous new nail lacquer painted on my toesies! Can't wait to wiggle my piggy's in the sand!

P.S. Not only does essie have the cutest little nail polish bottles, but they have a huge selection and variety of colors that go on smooth and last a decent amount of time! Love their website and all of their advertisements!
