I heard the title of this post in a song today. It just seemed to fit. Originally this post was suppose to go up on mothers day. Unfortunately, mothers day wasn't the best day for anyone in my family and since then I have been bogged down with more work than imaginable. So here it is now.
Just a little thank you to my momma and my grandma. Two amazing women, who I look up to, seek life advice from, admire and strive to be a little bit like someday. They have both been very influential in my development into the woman that I am becoming. (Yes woman...but shhh don't tell my dad! He still think I'm his baby girl.) I thought it would be nice to show you some of the jewelery and pretty little things that both of them have given me throughout the years. These are all things that were theirs not just things they bought me. I have a lot more but sadly most of it is back home in Wisconsin. Luckily for you I'll be going home in a little over two weeks and I can post some more photos then!
My grandma gave me the watch when she wanted me to learn how to tell time. Something I still struggle with. It takes me forever to figure out the exact time...not to mention when you see a clock face that doesn't show the actual numbers and you have to try and count which one the hand is pointing at it just gets really confusing. Am I the only one who struggles with this?... Probably. The gold necklace is also one of my favorite pieces of jewelery to wear. It looks like a piece you could actually find in a store currently, with the layers of gold chain being super trendy right now. A girl who came into my work once when I was wearing it asked where I got it and was disappointed when I told her it used to be my grandmas! There is something so much more magical about wearing a piece of jewelery that has had a life story beyond mine.
Love, Whit
