Currently in my Visual Merchandising class we are working on a window display as our final project. Our class was divided into two groups. Each group was then assigned a store to create the window display and complementing in-store displays.
The theme we were given was summer travel. We were then set free to interpret that however we chose to do so. Since the judging is tomorrow and it's too late for our idea to be stolen I think I'll leave you with a little sneak peak of our inspiration and concept. My team has worked so hard to hand make and create all of our props. We are playing with the idea of hot air balloons and making it a magical day of hot air balloon inspired summer travel. I have since decided that this summer a hot air balloon ride is a MUST...now I just have to find someone who has a hot air balloon and who is willing to take me for a ride! How nice it would be to be floating casually through the air with out a care in the world. Hope you enjoy our inspiration board as much as I enjoyed creating it!
