I have this strange obsession with lip products. Similar to someone with a shoe fetish, buying a new lippy makes me feel so happy. I can hardly avoid the cosmetic isles as it is... but as soon as my gaze locks on a new intriguing lip something or other; whether it be a gloss, balm, stain, or lipstick I can't help but buy it and give it a try! So maybe I can give you some suggestions or inspire you to purchase the ones that make me and my lippys happy.
Say hello to the best lip salve your lips will ever soak up. Smith's Rosebud Salve! This stuff is seriously amazing. We have had it at my work for ages. I wanted to buy it for such a long time but wasn't sure it was worth the eight bucks. Well, I'm glad for my sake... and yours that I trusted my instincts and went for it. See what taking risks can do for a girls lippys! Every time I put this amazing lip potion on, my smackers stay soft, supple and best of all kissable for hours. No joke! Even better it smells like roses!
Naturally, when I discovered how amazing this lip salve actually was I had to buy the sister lip balm. It's still made by Rosebud Perfume Co., except it's strawberry flavored and it's a balm instead of a salve. It is almost equally as amazing! The actual balm inside the pot isn't as soft as the original Rosebud salve but regardless the second it reaches my thirsty lips I can feel it soaking in. I try to be fair and rotate between the two. I would never want one or the other to feel neglected (Psst...between me and you, I favor the salve). Either way the little pot - or tin if you will, is so cute and fun to show off that just taking it out of my bag prior to using it gets me pretty excited! Have I convinced you? I'm sure you will thank me once you experience this wonderful lip treatment. Oh and, it says on the pot you can even use it for..."an all purpose skin preparation...to relieve chapped lips, skin, diaper rash, blemishes, detergent burns, and rough cuticles and may soften rough hands." Sort of a random combination of uses if you ask me but if you do use it for your blemishes, let me know how it goes! Enjoy!
Love, Whit
