Chivalry

My friend recently modeled for this photo shoot. None of the pictures belong to me but I wanted you to see how cute they are! Makes me think of chivalry...I heard it's dead? But this handsome guy - I'm sure he'd open my door for me before getting into the drivers seat.

"A girl can't make an entrance with out her lipstick."

Hmmm can this please me my life motto? Okay so the one product I have been literally dying to try...

California Dreamin'

I wish I could make you a little video montage of my summer like this one I found at Quiksilver.com. Can my life please be this dreamy?! Oh, and I'm definitely adding this song to my summer soundtrack!

As the days grow nearer I can't help but day dream a little bit about my up coming days in California.

Quiksilver

If you read my post titled Roxy you know that lucky little me will be doing an internship with Roxy Events this summer. If you haven't read the Roxy post yet, do it. When you're done come back and read this one! I'll wait right here....

Up, up and away....

Currently in my Visual Merchandising class we are working on a window display as our final project. Our class was divided into two groups. Each group was then assigned a store to create the window display and complementing in-store displays.

I realize I haven't yet had a chance to present you with my excitement for this summer. Well lucky for you I'm about to spill the beans...finally!

Saturday Night Scent

If you know me you know that I "die" for Rachel Zoe. I love that lady and all her quirky little sayings. I remember once on her show she said that perfume is the finishing touch to any girls outfit. So true! For some reason that little spritz of delicious smelliness just blends everything together and sends you on your way.  Unfortunately, if you are a little strapped for cash like myself you know that the good stuff is not really that affordable. Lately, I've been buying the tiniest little bottles because they are the cheapest. I'm sure if you use them sparingly they will last quiet some time. I like to think of the tiny little bottles as a little taste tester. Then if you really love the scent, go buy the big guy when you run out. I sort of like the idea that it's not going to last forever so at some point you will have a legitimate excuse to run off and by a new one, or better yet experiment with a new scent.

Better late then never, but never late is better!

I heard the title of this post in a song today. It just seemed to fit. Originally this post was suppose to go up on mothers day. Unfortunately, mothers day wasn't the best day for anyone in my family and since then I have been bogged down with more work than imaginable. So here it is now.

Rosebud Kisses

I have this strange obsession with lip products. Similar to someone with a shoe fetish, buying a new lippy makes me feel so happy. I can hardly avoid the cosmetic isles as it is... but as soon as  my gaze locks on a new intriguing lip something or other; whether it be a gloss, balm, stain, or lipstick I can't help but buy it and give it a try! So maybe I can give you some suggestions or inspire you to purchase the ones that make me and my lippys happy.

A Closet Full of Possibilities

Deeply sorry I haven't posted as much as I have wanted to recently (thanks to mounds of homework, other little projects I have been working on, and the occasional online shopping daze that I get stuck in). Don't fret! I have been gathering a couple little posts for you. The other day I met with Bianca Tankersly. She is a Fashion Marketing and Management major that plans on working in Fashion PR after graduation. She has the sweetest little southern accent. Y'all know...the kind that makes southern girls so charming and cute!

Material Girl

Recently I took a little trip to Target. And I swear to you, I never plan on spending an hour and a half to two hours there. However, for some reason Target seems to be a big black hole of timelessness. I could wander the isles for hours just looking at all of the pretty things and never even notice that any time has actually gone by. Its like these products are calling my name...I can hear it now, "Whitney, oh Whitney...please take me home with you" begs this beautiful little bottle of essie nail polish. - Well, that didn't take much convincing, did it?

There's a first for everything.

With regards to her unique and playful personal style, her amazing sense of fashion and her passion that I know she holds for all things fashion related, I knew Paige would be an amazing first interviewee.
When you first see Paige you would notice she has ombre highlights! You know... darker roots with highlights painted on the ends. A trend totally worth working into your style.
Not only because its so 'hot' right now, but because its such a low maintenance way to spice up your hairstyle. (Warning: too dark roots + too light highlights = ombre gone wrong!)

Ready, set...blog!

First of all, Hello and welcome! So I suppose you want to know what this blog is all about right? Well here's the idea...Each week I will interview a gal or maybe even a guy about their personal style, current trends they are loving, what their favorite pieces, products, brands and designers are right now. I'm going to uncover other peoples tips, tricks and secrets to style and share them with you! We have all been in the position where we were dying to know where she got those shoes or how she does her hair like that. Maybe I'll even find a new cosmetic or beauty product that you will love. There are so many things that you can learn from each individual and incorporate into your style in a way that is uniquely you!
